General Cancellation Policies

Travel Policies (Tours and Pop Up Shops) have their OWN policies.
Your appointments/services are very important to Kinky Curly Beauty, it is reserved especially for you.
We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 48 hours notice for cancellations.
STRICT AND ENFORCED 48 HOUR CANCELLATION POLICY!
(For Regular Services only. Holiday cancellation policy below)
Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on the waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. Appointment reminders are emailed and/or texted 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. Since the services are reserved for you personally, a Cancellation fee will apply.
- 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount.
- “NO SHOWS” or "SAME DAY CANCELLATIONS" will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount.
The cancellation policy allows us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping the schedule filled, thus better serving everyone. Kinky Curly Beauty's policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. Thank you for viewing and supporting our policies criteria.
REMINDER TEXTS AND EMAILS:
As a courtesy, we will text and/or email your service appointments two business days prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.
Cancellations are NOT valid if:
You go on to Schedulicity to cancel the appointment without correspondence with my assistant
There is no correspondence between you and my assistant confirming rescheduling
You cancel and reschedule WITHOUT approval
You cancel by email without correspondence
You cancel by phone
You cancel by voice mail message
You cancel by text without a response
Cancellations are ONLY VALID if the following are done:
You have emailed the assistant at firstname.lastname@example.org
and she has confirmed the cancellation with you at least 48 hours BEFORE your apppointment date
You contact my assistant to cancel an appointment during a holiday week 5+ days BEFORE your appointment date
CANCELLATIONS LESS THAN 48 HOURS (REG. APPTS)
Will be charged 50% of the remaining balance of your service.
CANCELLATIONS 24 HOURS OR LESS (REG. APPTS)
Will be charged 100% of the remaining balance of your service.
Major holiday months typically have short work-weeks. Because the salon is usually closed a set number of days in a holiday month and appointments are hard to get.
If you cancel an appointment that you have in a holiday month less than 5 days before the appointment, YOU WILL BE CHARGED 100% OF THE SERVICE COST!
After TWO consecutive cancellations, your THIRD cancellation will be charged 100% of the cost of your service AND you will be blocked from making future appointments.
